Members of Knesset Danon, Azulai, and Mozes will tour the site of the 1,600 housing units in the Ramat Shlomo in Jerusalem

Despite pressures from the Obama Administration: Members of Knesset Danon, Azulai, and Mozes will tour the site of the 1,600 housing units in the Ramat Shlomo in Jerusalem.
MK Danny Danon will tour today, Wedsnesday March 10th , together with chairman of the Interior Committee, MK David Azulai (Shas) and MK Eliezer Mozes (Yehadut HaTorah) will be visiting the 1,600 housing project in the Ramat Shlomo neighborhood in Jerusalem.
The visit will take place despite pressures from Obama administration and will presented to the public. MK Danon said today “the building in Jerusalem is within the heart of the Israeli concensus and cannot be shaken, it is our right to build in Jerusalem, the eternal capital of the jewish people, and this right is not dependent on time or the day to day events.”
The distirct committee for planning and construction in approved (Tuesday Mar.9 2010) the plan to build 1600 new housing units in the Orthodox Jerusalem neighborhood, Ramat Shlomo. This will increase the number of housing units in the neighborhood from 2,230 to 3,820. This will turn the area to the biggest orthodox neighborhood in Israel, reaching the size of a city. The visit is to take place at 16:00 on March 10 in Ramat Shlomo.
