Message from Yaakov Hagoel, Chairman World Zionist Organization and Representative of the World Likud

Dear Friends,

We will soon mark the anniversary of Hamas's brutal massacre on October 7th, 2023, the horrific loss of 1,200 innocent lives and the kidnapping of 254 innocent people. This evil attack, the worst since the Holocaust, was a stark reminder of the very real challenges Israel faces.

hagoelFrom the stories of October 7th, and in its aftermath, we witnessed true heroism from our people. All have shown remarkable strength and spirit, with tens of thousands volunteering to the IDF, and many more thousands donating and volunteering in every way possible, to defend our homeland. The unwavering support from Jewish communities worldwide—financial aid, supplies, and solidarity—has also been deeply moving.

As Israel continues to defend itself against genocidal threats, our global connection is more critical than ever. We will confront lies with truth, fight hatred with compassion, and overcome terror by continuing to flourish in our homeland. Together, we continue to support Israel in its time of need, forge meaningful relationships, and inspire future generations to stand with the Jewish state.

At World Likud, we take great pride in the work we accomplish together as a united global family. We continue to advance our values in every location and drive meaningful change in every corner of the world. I deeply appreciate each member for their outstanding contributions. Thank you for your continued dedication to our shared cause.

It is essential to continue to unite in our efforts to support Israel and uphold our shared values. As part of these efforts, it is our hope that this new World Likud newsletter will keep you connected and informed about our global activities.

As we approach the Jewish New Year, we pray for the 101 hostages still in captivity, for the affected citizens of the North and the South and for our heroic IDF soldiers who are daily on the frontlines to keep us safe. United, we will emerge victorious.

May I take this opportunity to wish us all health and happiness for the new year, with only good news ahead.

Shana Tova U’Metuka.

Yaakov Hagoel
